 About Me
My name is Geri Carson. I’m 27 years old, happily married for 7 years and the mother of two beautiful boys; Ian who is 3 ½ years old, and Van who is 20 months old. My husband, Ryan and I met while attending art school at the Academy of Entertainment and Technology in Santa Monica in 1998. He is now a graphics manager and web developer while I stay at home with our children.
Why InfantMail?
I began designing announcements after much encouragement from friends and family. First I designed our wedding announcements and then everything else from Christmas cards to birthday invitations. The idea was brought to my attention by my Grandmother-in-law. She said “Geri, you should really consider doing this professionally! They are just so cute. Every time I get one of your little things in the mail I just can’t wait to show my friends. I mean you should really, think about it.” So, I thought about it, and here I am with my own little business ran from home designing and distributing announcements.
From The Beginning
 I have always had a passion for art and creativity. I took advanced placement arts in high school and then went to the academy where I learned the computer graphics side of the design world and was able to fine tune many other skills. Since having children, I’ve pursued many other creative outlets such as scrap booking and quilting. In my world, creativity equals fun. Paint, charcoal, pencils, ribbons and lace- you name it, I’ve done it and I love it.
My Purpose
We all have our list of priorities and goals in life. Mine are to lead a Christ centered life and to be the best wife and mother that I can be. Creating and selling announcements is a dream come true for me. It allows me to stay at home with my boys and do what I love as a means for income. So I’d like to especially thank you for your business. It means everything to me. |
